| 正面描述 | A detailed engraving of a 19th-century steam locomotive facing left occupies the central field, rendered with fine mechanical detail including drive wheels, connecting rods, and a chimney stack. Above the locomotive, a schematic map of the Northern State Railway line is depicted, with the station names PRAHA, KOLÍN, PARDUBICE, ČESKÁ TŘEBOVÁ, and OLOMOUC inscribed at their respective nodes along the route. The curved legend SEVERNÍ STÁTNÍ DRÁHA arches above the map along the upper periphery. The denomination 200 KČ and the issuer inscription ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA appear in bold relief along the lower portion of the field. |

Jan Perner was the Bohemian railway engineer behind the original design of the first horse-drawn railway line between Linz and Budějovice, but he is remembered above all for his survey work on the Prague–Olomouc and Prague–Dresden trunk lines. He died in 1845 at thirty years old, after being struck by a locomotive during a track inspection near Pardubice — an accident that cost the Austrian rail network one of its most capable planners mid-project. The Czech National Bank issued this coin to mark the 200th anniversary of his birth.
