Selective platinum plating highlights the allegorical figure, while the surrounding field displays an intricate patterned background derived from the olive and maple leaf motif of the crown. The Latin motto 'A MARI USQUE AD MARE' arcs across the design, accompanied by the word 'PAX' (Peace) and the year '2024' in the field. The engraver's initials 'ST' appear discretely within the design. The combination of ultra high relief striking and the contrasting platinum and gold surfaces creates a pronounced sculptural effect befitting this commemorative issue. |
