Obverse description Brown letterpress note with a central vignette of the railway viaduct over the Murg valley (Eisenbahnbrücke im Murgtal), rendered in fine line engraving with rocky riverbed and wooded hillside in the foreground. The denomination 'Zweihundert Milliarden Mark' is set in heavy blackletter type across the upper portion, with the series letter 'Lit. T' and red serial number at top left and right respectively; a guilloche-bordered panel at right carries the numeral '200 Milliarden Mark'. A text block at centre records the issuing conditions, dated Karlsruhe, den 15. Oktober 1923, above the manuscript signature of the Reichsbahndirektion official.
