| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in blue and orange-red on a light blue guilloche underprint. At left, a circular vignette bears the Cuban national coat of arms encircled by the legend BANCO NACIONAL DE CUBA. At centre, the denomination numeral '20' is rendered in large orange-red intaglio-style figures overprinted with the text VEINTE PESOS in blue. To the right, a large ornate letter 'C' within a radiating circular guilloche panel serves as the series identifier. The serial prefix EC and number appear twice, at upper centre and lower right, with the title CERTIFICADO DE COMPRA in the upper border band and BANCO NACIONAL DE CUBA along the lower border band. |
