Beschrijving voorzijde	The Montenegrin royal coat of arms dominates the field, depicting a double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, each head facing outward, surmounted by a large imperial crown topped with a Latin cross. The eagle's dexter talon clasps a sword and the sinister talon holds an orb and cross, while a central escutcheon on the breast bears a lion passant. The word ESSAI appears incuse in the right field, identifying this piece as a trial strike. The design is enclosed by a fine beaded border.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse presents a bold, plain typographic design with the large numeral '20' at center, flanked by the Cyrillic denomination ПАРА immediately below. The circular legend КРАЉЕВИНА ЦРНА ГОРА (Kingdom of Montenegro) arcs around the upper periphery in Cyrillic characters. The date 1915 is inscribed at the lower portion of the field in Arabic numerals. The entire design is contained within a beaded border.
