正面描述	The obverse displays the elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Czechoslovak Republic occupying the central field, incorporating the Bohemian lion rampant, the Moravian eagle, the Slovak double cross, and the Subcarpathian Ruthenian bears, all rendered in fine detail in the Art Deco style characteristic of engraver Jaroslav Horejc. A beaded inner border frames the shield. The circular legend REPUBLIKA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ arcs around the periphery, with the denomination 20 Kč positioned at the top between decorative dot ornaments. The engraver's initials J·H appear at the base of the design flanking the shield.

附加信息	This issue was struck specifically to mark the 87th birthday of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, who had resigned the presidency two years earlier in 1935 due to failing health — the first peaceful, voluntary transfer of executive power in the country's short history. He died in September 1937, the same year this coin entered circulation, making it simultaneously a tribute and an obituary. Czechoslovakia had less than two years of sovereignty remaining when these were struck. The Munich Agreement and subsequent German occupation would render the issuing state extinct by March 1939.
