The denomination numeral '20' appears in decorative cartouches at upper left and right, each accompanied by a ribbon banner inscribed 'Heller', while the issuing authority heading 'Notgeld der Gemeinde' arches across the top in Gothic script above the large locality name 'Eschenau' and the regional abbreviation 'Ob. Öst.' A four-line verse in Austrian dialect runs along the lower margin within a scrollwork border, and the designer's name 'Doblmaier' is inscribed at the lower left corner. |

Mai 1920 Notgeld im Gesamtbetrage von 30.000 Kronen aus und haftet für die Einlösung mit ihrem ganzen Aktivvermögen. Die Gutscheine werden in der Zeit vom 1. bis einschließlich 31.
