Above the vignette, the legend BON DE CAISSE and its English equivalent CASH VOUCHER appear alongside the Lorraine cross; a right-hand panel carries the denomination in words with the inscriptions TRÉSORERIE and NOUMÉA, while a left-hand panel reproduces the relevant article of the penal code.
