The central vignette is divided between an industrial mining scene at right and a harbour with a vessel under loading at left. Reverse description The reverse is set against a ground of stylised floral guilloche work, with a central vignette of a deer's head. Above the vignette, the legend BON DE CAISSE and its English equivalent CASH VOUCHER appear alongside the Lorraine cross; a right-hand panel carries the denomination in words with the inscriptions TRÉSORERIE and NOUMÉA, while a left-hand panel reproduces the relevant article of the penal code. Below the central vignette, a black inscription records the Décret du 20 Avril 1943.
