| 裏面の説明 | The reverse bears the denomination and issuing legend arranged in five horizontal lines across the central field: '20' at the top, followed by 'EURO', 'DE', 'LA ROCHELLE', and '7 - 18 OCTOBRE' above the date '1997' at the base. Twelve six-pointed stars, symbolic of the European Union, are arranged in a partial arc framing the upper and lateral portions of the field in the manner of the EU emblem. The Monnaie de Paris mint mark appears at the bottom of the field below the date. The overall design is bold and legible, in keeping with the commemorative euro precursor issues of the late 1990s. |
