Reverse description A vigorous equestrian battle scene fills the central field, depicting a heavily armored cavalryman — identified as Gustav II Adolphus — mounted on a rearing horse and brandishing a sword amidst the chaos of combat. Fallen enemies, cannon, and scattered arms lie beneath the horse's hooves, while additional figures engage in struggle around the central group. A secondary inscription reading ET VITA ET MORTE TRIUMPHO appears in the upper field within the wreath. The scene is framed by a wreath of laurel and wheat encircled by a beaded border, with the commemorative Latin legend running around the full circumference, proclaiming the king's titles as glorious duke, pious prince, invincible hero, incomparable victor, and liberator of Germany, dated 1633.
