| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design features a single raised sugar maple leaf (Acer saccharum) struck in ultra-high relief and positioned at the centre of the field. Surrounding the leaf, a finely engraved radial pulsating pattern evokes the canopy of a vast Canadian forest, creating an optical illusion of depth and movement — tall conifers appearing to emerge and recede when the coin is tilted, simulating the experience of a misty forest interior. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper field, while the purity and metal inscriptions are distributed along the lower portion of the reverse. The overall composition is known as the Silver Maple Leaf bullion design rendered in a commemorative ultra-high relief format. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The Ultra High Relief series from the Royal Canadian Mint demands multiple die strikes per planchet to achieve the dramatic depth of field — a process that slows production considerably and keeps mintages low relative to the RCM's standard bullion output. Charles III's accession in September 2022 made 2024 among the first years the RCM could issue coinage under his effigy with any production lead time, the transition from Elizabeth II's obverse dies representing a logistical and legal process that ran through multiple issuing authorities simultaneously across Commonwealth mints.
The SML designation refers to the Security, Micro-engraving, and Laser mark features the RCM has incorporated as anti-counterfeiting measures since the mid-2010s.
