The central vignette presents a detailed architectural engraving of the Casa Dorada in Tarija, a grand neoclassical building with an elaborate facade. The issuer's title BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA is inscribed at the top, the denomination VEINTE BOLIVIANOS appears in a solid panel at the bottom, and the numeral 20 is repeated at upper right and lower left within ornamental rosettes.
