Obverse description The obverse is printed in orange and pink tones on a light guilloche underprint. At centre-left, the denomination VEINTE BOLIVIANOS appears in large intaglio letterpress, with the numeral 20 at lower left. To the right, an intaglio portrait of Pantaleon Dalence is set within a fine engine-turned border. The issuer's title BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA runs along the top margin, with the serial number and two facsimile signatures of bank officials appearing below the central vignette.
