| Obverse description | The obverse features the national coat of arms of Panama centrally positioned in the field, rendered in fine detail against a darkened background with selective gold plating applied to the outer border ring. The shield displays the traditional quartered design with the isthmus, tools of labor, a cornucopia, and a fasces, surmounted by a harpy eagle with outstretched wings.
