| Descrizione del rovescio | The central motif features a gold-plated circular cartouche framed by a large cogwheel, depicting a relief scene of canal workers engaged in excavation during the early construction period, rendered in high-relief. Two large lattice-boom cranes are depicted in the upper field, crossed symmetrically above the cogwheel and connected by a chain at the base, all selectively gold-plated against a dark proof field. The denomination VEINTE BALBOAS is inscribed along the upper arc in bold letters, while the legend 1907 CONSTRUCCIÓN DEL CANAL DE PANAMÁ curves along the lower periphery.
