| Obverse description | Plain card stock bearing printed text in letterpress, issued under the authority of the Civil Commissioner, Bulawayo. The text instructs that cash payment of the face value of the stamp affixed thereto be made to the bearer upon presentation on or after 1st August 1900, with a final redemption deadline of 1st October 1900.
