The dual dates 1926 (Western numerals) and ١٩٢٦ (Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals) appear respectively at the lower centre and within the Arabic text. The entire design is framed by an elaborate arabesque border of interlaced foliate and geometric ornamental motifs characteristic of the Art Deco-influenced Patey style. |
