| Description de l’avers | Dark brownish-red on cream paper, the note is framed by a ornate guilloche border with circular rosette medallions at each corner, each inscribed '2 PFG.' The upper portion carries a three-line issuer inscription followed by the voucher legend 'Gutschein über' in italic script. The centre is occupied by a horizontal band with the word 'PFENNIG' to either side of a large circular vignette bearing the bold numeral '2'. A manuscript signature above a serial number and the cautionary notice regarding missing numbers appear in the lower portion. |

Three small rosette ornaments are placed symmetrically at the top, centre, and bottom margins. The field is occupied entirely by a block of German text setting out the conditions of validity and redemption of the voucher at the cashier offices of the works. |
