Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse is dominated by a central vignette of a mounted equestrian figure at full gallop, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. To the left, a circular vignette bears the coat of arms of the Estados Unidos de Colombia, while to the right appears a portrait of Simón Bolívar in military uniform within an oval frame. The denomination numeral '2' appears in large ornate figures at each upper corner, with the issuer's name and 'DOS PESOS' in bold letterpress across the centre, surrounded by intricate guilloche borders along the top and bottom margins.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse carries a largely plain, document-style layout typical of treasury warrants of the period, with manuscript and stamped inscriptions in black ink. Two circular official stamps are visible — one reading 'TESORERÍA JENERAL DE COLOMBIA' and another dated '5 DE JUNIO DE 1871' — along with manuscript notations recording the place and date of issue, 'Pasto, Noviembre 18 de 1863', and handwritten signatures of the issuing treasury officials. The overall appearance is that of an administrative voucher rather than a printed vignette reverse.
