Opmerkingen

Montenegro's treasury notes of 1914–1915 were a wartime improvisation. When the Kingdom entered the First World War alongside Serbia, the existing monetary infrastructure collapsed almost immediately under military strain, and the Glavna Državna Blagajna issued these notes as a direct substitute for coin — silver perpera had effectively vanished from circulation through hoarding.

Over twelve million printed for a country with a population under half a million. That ratio tells you more about the inflation pressure and reissue cycles than any condition report could.
