| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is printed in black with a green ornamental underprint on buff paper. A central rectangular vignette presents a detailed line-engraving of the Potsdamer Bahnhof as it appeared in 1838, with a steam locomotive hauling a train of passenger carriages along the tracks in the foreground, period figures on the platform, and the station buildings and surrounding architecture rendered in meticulous historical style. The denomination '2 MARK' appears vertically in the left and right ornamental side panels, flanked by green decorative corner devices. The top border carries the title 'DER POTSDAMER BAHNHOF' and the bottom border reads 'IM JAHRE 1838', both in bold sans-serif lettering within dark banded frames. |
