| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black on buff paper with a red letterpress underprint repeating the text 'MAGISTRAT BERLINS TADTISCHES STRASSENBAHNMAGISTRAT' across the central field. At left, the Berlin coat of arms with the heraldic bear is set within a shield below the denomination '2 MARK' in large bold type.
