| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse is printed in black on buff paper with a red letterpress underprint repeating the text 'MAGISTRAT BERLINS TADTISCHES STRASSENBAHNMAGISTRAT' across the central field. At left, the Berlin coat of arms with the heraldic bear is set within a shield below the denomination '2 MARK' in large bold type. The central vignette carries the main text in calligraphic script reading 'Bei Benutzung der städtischen Straßenbahn BERLIN / 1 MÄRZ 1922 / DER MAGISTRAT', with two facsimile signatures below. At right, a stylised ornamental urn motif is accompanied by the legend 'GUT FÜR ZWEI MARK' in block lettering. The top and bottom margins bear the inscription 'GILT BIS AUF WIDERRUF DURCH BE-' and 'KANNTMACHUNG IM GEMEINDEBLATT.' |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed in black with a green ornamental underprint on buff paper. A central rectangular vignette presents a detailed line-engraving of the Potsdamer Bahnhof as it appeared in 1838, with a steam locomotive hauling a train of passenger carriages along the tracks in the foreground, period figures on the platform, and the station buildings and surrounding architecture rendered in meticulous historical style. The denomination '2 MARK' appears vertically in the left and right ornamental side panels, flanked by green decorative corner devices. The top border carries the title 'DER POTSDAMER BAHNHOF' and the bottom border reads 'IM JAHRE 1838', both in bold sans-serif lettering within dark banded frames. |
