The central vignette presents a detailed townscape view of the Marktplatz and Rathaus of Schmiedeberg as it appeared in 1820, with a church steeple visible in the background beneath a cloud-filled sky. Flanking the central scene are two narrow vertical panels, each on a black ground: the left panel shows a woman in traditional Silesian folk costume carrying a basket of produce, while the right panel depicts a uniformed figure; both panels carry '2 M' denomination cartouches in blue below the figures. The caption 'Schmiedeberg im Riesengebirge' appears at top in Fraktur, with 'Marktplatz u.
