| Obverse description | The national obverse depicts an abstract composition of interwoven linear motifs symbolising the polyphonic character of the sutartinės, traditional Lithuanian multipart folk songs. The lines expand and contract rhythmically, converging into a central swirl embellished with miniature geometric and naturalistic ornamental figures. The legend LIETUVA and SUTARTINĖS are inscribed in the field, accompanied by the year of issue 2019 and the Lithuanian Mint mark LMK. Twelve stars, referencing the flag of the European Union, are incorporated into the outer ring of the coin. |
