Obverse description	The inner disc features a left-facing bust of Franc Rozman-Stane, the Slovenian World War II National Liberation Army commander, rendered in a bold, modernist relief style by engraver Edi Berk. A prominent five-pointed star is incused in the lower field, referencing his partisan legacy. To the right of the portrait, the legend reads FRANC ROZMAN STANE in vertical arrangement, flanked by the birth and death years 1911 and 1944. The country name SLOVENIJA appears in large letters across the lower centre field, with the commemorative year 2011 inscribed vertically at the lower right. The outer ring carries the customary twelve stars of the European Union.

The outer ring is decorated with the twelve stars of the European Union evenly spaced around the circumference.
