| Popis rubu | The entire rectangular field is occupied by an elaborately engraved design in the traditional Russian Khokhloma folk-art style, rendered in high relief against a polished background. A large stylised bird in flight is depicted amid densely interlacing floral and foliate scrollwork, including bold multi-petalled blossoms, buds, berries, and curling stems. A butterfly hovers near the upper right corner, adding further decorative complexity to the composition.
