| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central square perforation surrounded by a raised square rim, with four Chinese ideograms in Regular script (Kaishu) disposed clockwise in the four cardinal positions of the field, reading 淳熙通寶 (Chunxi Tongbao). A plain raised inner rim frames the central aperture, and a similarly raised outer rim borders the coin's circumference. The calligraphy is bold and clearly articulated, consistent with Southern Song dynasty casting conventions. The flat field shows typical iron casting texture with no additional decorative elements. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central square perforation surrounded by a raised square inner rim and a plain outer rim. A single Chinese ideogram 春 (Chun, denoting the Qichun Mint) appears above the square hole, with the reign-year numerals 十六 (Shi Liu, meaning 'Year 16') positioned below, identifying this piece as struck in the sixteenth year of the Chunxi era (1189). The reverse field is otherwise plain, with casting marks and iron corrosion typical of Southern Song iron cash. |
