| Beschrijving voorzijde | Large papal coat of arms of Pope Pius VI displayed centrally in the field, featuring the Braschi family arms — a per pale shield with vertical lines on the dexter side and a flowering branch on the sinister — surmounted by the papal tiara (triregnum) and the crossed keys of Saint Peter tied with a cord. The inscription is enclosed within an ornate wreath-like cartouche of acanthus and laurel scrollwork, with a small decorative escutcheon at the base and foliate ornaments at the apex. A small five-pointed star mint mark appears below the date at the bottom of the cartouche. The whole is contained within a beaded border. |
