| Obverse description | A triangular segment cut from one-sixth of a Spanish colonial 8 Reales coin, bearing three applied countermarks along the upper curved edge: at left, the crowned rectangular punch stamped 'GS' (for Grenada State); at center, a circular punch with the numeral 'I'; and at right, a circular punch with the numeral '2', together denoting the 2 Bits denomination. The underlying host coin surface retains remnants of the original Spanish colonial design, including a partial floral or pomegranate motif and a circular orb device visible in the lower field. |
