Below the central inscription appears the mint name 'Dar al-'Ilm Shiraz' (Abode of Knowledge, Shiraz) accompanied by the regnal year 1183 AH. The design is framed by a stylized floral or foliate border running along the coin's periphery, typical of Zand Dynasty silver coinage. |

The inscription fills the field from edge to edge with bold, deeply struck characters. The verse, a poetic legend referencing the Imam of the Age, reads in full: 'The sun and moon made gold and silver in the world, from the coinage of the rightful Imam, the Lord of the Age.' A decorative foliate border frames the outer edge of the die. |
