Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square divided into four roughly equal rectangular compartments by a raised cross-shaped division, struck in deep relief into the plain flan. The four sections display a slightly granular surface texture, with alternating raised and recessed areas creating a windmill or swastika-like visual effect. This type of reverse punch is typical of early Archaic Greek electrum coinage and served as a guarantee of the metal's consistency and weight.
