At the upper border, the bilingual legend 'ՄԱՏԵՆԱԴԱՐԱՆ MATENADARAN' arcs from left to right in Armenian and Latin scripts. In the upper left field, the numeral '50' is prominently displayed alongside the bilingual inscription '50-ամյակ / 50th Anniversary', commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the institution's opening. The denomination '1957 ԴՐԱՄ' is inscribed in two lines at the lower portion of the field, referencing both the face value and the founding year of the Matenadaran. |
