| Obverse description | The Armenian state coat of arms — depicting a double-headed eagle with a shield bearing the national emblem — is centrally positioned within a circular medallion at the heart of the design. Surrounding the central motif is an elaborate, finely engraved radial geometric pattern of concentric star-burst rays, lending the field a rich, ornate character. An inner border of small beads separates the central device from a decorative ring of stylised floral and leaf motifs. The circumferential legend, rendered in Armenian script, reads 'ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅԱՆ ԿԵՆՏՐՈՆԱԿԱՆ ԲԱՆԿ', with the date '2007' appearing at the top of the coin. |
