| Obverse description | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in the robust Hellenistic style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage. The deity's flowing locks and laurel wreath are rendered with considerable detail despite the small module, and the broad facial features reflect the artistic conventions of the period. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of hammered bronze issues from this mint. |
