The title 'ÉTAT DU GRAND-DUCHÉ DE LUXEMBOURG' and 'BON DE CAISSE' appear in bold display type across the upper portion, with the value spelled out in full as 'CENT VINGT-CINQ FRANCS' in large Gothic lettering below centre. A circular red official stamp appears at lower left, with two manuscript signatures at the foot corresponding to 'Le Directeur général des Finances' and 'Le Délégué du Gouvernement'.
