Obverse description Lilac on red and green guilloche underprint. The centre field carries the Luxembourg Coat of Arms as a faint watermark-style vignette within an elaborate interlaced guilloche panel, flanked by the denomination numerals '125' in large dark red letterpress at left and right. The title 'ÉTAT DU GRAND-DUCHÉ DE LUXEMBOURG' and 'BON DE CAISSE' appear in bold display type across the upper portion, with the value spelled out in full as 'CENT VINGT-CINQ FRANCS' in large Gothic lettering below centre. A circular red official stamp appears at lower left, with two manuscript signatures at the foot corresponding to 'Le Directeur général des Finances' and 'Le Délégué du Gouvernement'. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative ornamental border.
