The lettering is rendered in high relief, deeply hammered into the thick copper flan, with characteristic surface corrosion and verdigris patination consistent with long burial or environmental exposure. The irregular planchet and rough edge are typical of Gujarati sultanate copper coinage of the mid-fifteenth century. |
