Mongolia's Olympic commemorative program in the 1990s was largely driven by foreign minting houses and private distributors rather than any domestic numismatic infrastructure — most issues from this period were struck in Austria or the Czech Republic and sold directly into the collector market without ever touching Mongolian soil.
