A central cartouche displays the numeral "100" over the word "YUAN" in a banner, flanked by two symmetrical medallions each bearing the numeral "100". The bank title is inscribed in a panel at top, the denomination in words appears in a panel at bottom, and the year "1941" is set in a tablet below centre.
