To the right of the portrait, an excerpt from one of his poems is inscribed in Kazakh Cyrillic script arranged in vertical lines, flanked by a decorative vertical rule with traditional Kazakh ornamental motifs. The numeral '175' and 'JYL' (meaning 'years') appear prominently to the right.
