| Obverse description | The face is covered by a multicolour guilloche underprint in green, purple, and gold tones, over which the provincial seal of Salta — an oval cartouche enclosing a radiant sun and wreath — appears to the left of centre. A geometric teal vignette occupies the upper-left corner, and the denomination '$a 100' is set within a spiral guilloche panel at the right margin, with 'CIEN Pesos Argentinos' and 'CASA DE MONEDA' printed vertically along the right edge. Two manuscript signatures appear below centre, captioned 'MINISTRO DE ECONOMIA' and 'GOBERNADOR', with the expiry legend 'FECHA DE CADUCIDAD: 31 DE DICIEMBRE DE 1987' printed across the middle of the note. |

A central rosette guilloche underprint in purple occupies the lower half behind the text block. The upper portion carries the bond title in bold lettering, followed by five numbered articles (Artículos 1–5) setting out the full legal text of Ley 6228 authorising the issuance of provincial debt-cancellation bonds.
