正面描述	Blue-green intaglio print on multicolour underprint, with a portrait vignette of Tryggvi Gunnarsson positioned at left-center. To the right of the portrait, a vignette presents the Episcopal residence of Hólar í Hjaltadal — a church and adjoining house rendered in fine line engraving. The snow-capped cone of volcano Hekla dominates the background landscape, flanked by subsidiary ridgelines rendered in fine intaglio line work. Denomination numerals "100" appear in each corner, and the name "HEKLA" is inscribed in capitals along the lower margin beneath the central vignette.
