The snow-capped cone of volcano Hekla dominates the background landscape, flanked by subsidiary ridgelines rendered in fine intaglio line work. Denomination numerals "100" appear in each corner, and the name "HEKLA" is inscribed in capitals along the lower margin beneath the central vignette. |
