Issued to mark the 650th anniversary of Parléř's birth, this coin honors the Swabian-born master builder responsible for completing Prague's St. Vitus Cathedral after Matthias of Arras died in 1352. Parléř's workshop also produced the Charles Bridge sculptures and the Týn Church choir — a body of work that shaped Prague's Gothic skyline for centuries.
