| Reverse description | A bold, high-relief bust of the Gothic master builder Petr Parléř is depicted facing slightly left, rendered in a sculptural style based on the original triforium bust from St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. The subject is shown bearded and wearing a medieval hood and draped mantle, with a small heraldic shield bearing the Parler family emblem prominently displayed on the chest. Stylised Gothic ribbed vaulting fills the field on both sides of the bust, harmonising the design with its architectural subject. The legend 'PETR PARLER' appears in bold below the bust, with the commemorative dates '1330-1980' inscribed beneath, and the engraver's mint mark is visible at the bottom of the field. |
