| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Zog I of Albania, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and strong facial features in the neoclassical medallic tradition of engraver Giuseppe Romagnoli. The truncation of the neck is cleanly cut. The surrounding legend reads ZOG·I·MBRETI·I·SHQIPTAREVET, meaning 'Zog I, King of the Albanians', arranged along the upper and lower periphery. The date 1938 appears in the lower field flanked by dots, accompanied by the Rome Mint mark R to its right. |
