Beschrijving voorzijde	Blue intaglio print over a multicolour guilloche underprint with black serial numbers. A front-facing portrait vignette of Prince Rwagasore occupies the centre, with the Prince Rwagasore Mausoleum in Bujumbura rendered in the background. A black overprint obscures the original bank title at top and bottom, replacing it with the new Republican institution name in both French and Kirundi.
