Descrizione del dritto	At centre, the coat of arms of Mali depicts a stylised shield featuring a fortified tower (representing the Great Mosque of Djenné), crossed bow and arrow, and rising sun rays, surmounted by a bird with outstretched wings in high relief. The legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU MALI' is inscribed along the upper edge, with the date '2022' below it. Two five-pointed stars flank the shield in the left and right fields. The denomination '100 FRANCS CFA' and the national motto 'UN PEUPLE · UN BUT · UN FOI' (One People, One Goal, One Faith) appear in the lower field.

Descrizione del rovescio	A finely detailed savannah landscape in high relief occupies the central field, depicting a pride of lions: a standing male lion with a full mane at left, a reclining lioness at centre-right, and a cub between them, set against a background of acacia trees, rolling hills, and open plains. The legend 'GEMME D'OR' is inscribed in the upper field in large letters, with a diamond symbol incorporated into the lettering. A cabochon-cut fire opal gemstone is inlaid in the upper right corner within a raised bezel, labelled 'FIRE OPAL'. The inscription '1 OZ .9999 FINEST GOLD' appears along the lower right field.
